Purpose

The
Coastal Service at Havant Borough Council has undergone a
procurement exercise to establish the preferred bidder for the
works to design and install a new marker beacon at South Hayling,
Havant.
 
Works
procurement was undertaken through a mini-bid competition on the
Southern Coastal Group Minor Works Framework to select a preferred
bidder based on quality and price.
 
The works
are scheduled for delivery from April 2026. The exact delivery date
is subject to weather and tidal conditions.
 

Decision

To award a
works contract to Suttles Projects Limited for replacement of a
navigation safety marker beacon at South Hayling, in Havant with a
value of £40,753.16.
