Purpose

The Citizenlab tool has been
used extensively since being introduced in May 2022 and has aided
the inclusivity and diversity of corporate engagement exercises as
a digital tool by improving access to those unable to engage with
physical engagement events or activities.
 
Analytics from the
Citizenlab tool have shown that the audience for projects on the
platform have improved the diversity of those engaging with the
council, with younger audiences more likely to engage with
Citizenlab projects.
 
As such, it is considered
that Citizenlab should be retained as a corporate engagement tool.
Further work will be undertaken within the duration of the contract
to further raise the profile of the platform and seek to make
further improvements to digital corporate engagement.

approve the renewal of the contract for the Citizenlab digital
engagement tool.
