Purpose

The expenditure of £5,000 from the Apex earmarked fund will facilitate the delivery of infrastructure improvements that are of benefit to the local community. As alternative dedicated funding is available, the use of Apex funding accords with the Council's CIL Spending Protocol 2025, represents good financial management, and is considered to be in the public interest.

Decision

To seek authorisation from the Strategic Director, Growth & Place to confirm allocation of £5000 of Earmarked Apex Funding, in addition to the Strategic CIL already granted at Council on 26 February 2026.
