Purpose

Under
Part 2 Section G of the HBC Constitution, Delegation of Service
Performance Powers condition 2, to commit HBC to a contract,
acting without a counter signatory shall be limited to budgeted
expenditure of £100,000 in each case, is delegated to
Executive Head for Coastal Partnership who has further delegated
authority to the Coastal Service Manager.  
 
 

Decision

Under the Delegations of
Service Performance Powers the Coastal
Service Manager has delegated authority to approve spend under
£100,000.
A
contract has been awarded to Ocean Ecology Ltd (OEL) up to a total
value of £35,800.00 to deliver Intertidal Benthic
Characterisation Surveys. Therefore, the decision to confirm
commitment to this contract is required by the Coastal Service
Manager.
