Councillor
Philippa Gray, as relevant Cabinet Lead, introduced a report
seeking approval for the appointment of a new ICT Infrastructure
and Security provider from 2025.
 
The report
and options available to Cabinet were discussed in
detail.
 
Following
a question and answer session, debate
and vote, Cabinet agreed the report’s recommendations for the
reasons stated in the submitted report.
 
RESOLVED:
 
A.             
that a contract be entered into with the recommended
supplier identified in submitted exempt Appendix A as the new
supplier of ICT Infrastructure and Security provider from
2025;

 
B.             
that authority be delegated to the Executive Head of
Internal Services to negotiate the Terms and Conditions of the new
supplier contract;

 
C.            
that authority be delegated to the Executive Head of
Internal Services in consultation with the S151 Officer and Cabinet
Lead for Finance any permitted extension to the contract as
appropriate; and
 
D.            
to note that further contracts would be awarded to
fully supplement the council’s new ICT provision within the
current budget framework.
