The Cabinet Member for Environment approved recommendations for a collision reduction scheme on Hacton Lane, Upminster on 22/01/2024. The decision included the installation of a raised pelican crossing, raised pedestrian traffic islands, speed tables, rumble strip areas, a vehicle activated sign, street lighting improvements, repeater 30mph signs, and road markings.
