Councillor Barry Mugglestone, Cabinet Member for Environment, approved a waiver of Contract Procedure Rules to award a contract for Mortuary Services on 22/08/2023. The decision was to award a 12-month contract to Barking, Havering and Redbridge NHS University Trust. This included waiving the requirement to obtain at least three comparable written quotations.
