The Cabinet Member for Health and Social Care, Councillor Jane Palmer, approved recommendations from the Health and Social Care Select Committee on 21/03/2024. The Cabinet asked the North West London Integrated Care Board to provide an action plan for the Thrive mapping strategy by 28 March 2024, complete and implement the strategy by January 2025, provide six-monthly updates, initiate a "No Wrong Door" policy, ensure all children and young people's services adopt the Thrive philosophy, and consider how parents can be offered early support. The Health and Wellbeing Board was asked to ensure commissioners include contract requirements for realistic descriptions of assessment/treatment processes and sensitive communication with parents. CAMHS was asked to develop a service-user involvement strategy including a parents/Young People Board.
