Cabinet noted the findings of the options appraisal report in the
exempt Appendix 1 of the submitted report to identify an
alternative delivery mechanism for the Charlton House and Albany
House Estate redevelopment.
·
Cabinet approved the preferred option identified in the submitted
report (Option 2), involving the appointment of development
management advisors and multi-disciplinary design team via a direct
call off procurement framework; to refine the scheme within the
existing planning consent.
·
Cabinet approved utilisation of the budget, as outlined in exempt
Appendix 2 of the submitted report, from the HRA Council House
building capital programme contingency budget for procurement of
development management advisors and multi-disciplinary design team
and to refine the scheme within confines of the existing planning
consent.
·
Cabinet delegated authority to the Director of Regeneration and
Economic Growth to approve and award procured contracts for
development management advisors and multi-disciplinary design team
and enter into any necessary associated
legal documentation.
·
Cabinet noted that a report would be brought to Cabinet to present
the outcome of the redesign work with a revised cost estimate for
the complete construction works and retender process.
