About
The Children's Trust Board for the Isles of Scilly provided strategic leadership and coordination for children's services. It aimed to improve outcomes for children and young people by shaping services, planning and commissioning them, and managing performance.
The Board was responsible for making strategic commissioning decisions, particularly those involving multiple agencies, and for developing and reviewing the Children and Young People's Plan. It also ensured the safeguarding agenda was delivered and promoted effective, integrated services through joint planning and resource allocation. The Board's work affected children, young people, and their families across the Isles of Scilly.
