The Community Services Committee was responsible for fostering partnerships to improve the wellbeing of the Isles of Scilly population. It supported the identification of local priorities and the delivery of inclusive, high-quality services. The committee exercised the Council's powers and duties related to adult social care, social housing, statutory homelessness, learning and skills, and library services. It also managed community sport development, healthy living initiatives, and engaged with the community on health and wellbeing decisions. The committee was responsible for its budgets, setting fees and charges, and worked with the Health and Wellbeing Board on adult-related matters.
