The Head of Transport Projects approved the proposal to make Traffic Management Orders relating to Story Street, Carnoustie Drive, and Frederica Street on 14 October 2025. The decision included permanently closing Story Street to traffic, adjusting bollard positioning on Carnoustie Drive to expand a vehicle-free zone and installing removable bollards, and improving Frederica Street with planting, pavement widening, cycle parking, and a continuous footway.
