Recommendations:

1. 1  Note the Regulator of Social Housing judgment for Islington at Appendix 1.
2. 2  Approve the Housing Improvement Plan at Appendix 2 to support our response to the Regulator for Social Housing judgement.
3. 3  Note the establishment of a Housing Improvement Board, with an independent chair to support our future Housing Improvement Programme.
4. 4  Note the wider set of improvement actions proposed to secure longer term, transformational benefits for our tenants and leaseholders.
5. 5  Note the Housing Improvement Board’s responsibility to report to the Homes and Communities Scrutiny Committee on a regular basis on the progress against the Housing Improvement Plan, as outlined throughout this report.
