The Director of Public Realm, Climate Change and Transport approved the procurement strategy for 5kW electric vehicle charging points on 22 September 2026. The decision approved a joint procurement strategy with the London Borough of Camden for a minimum of 600 charge points, and approved grant funding of £932,500 from the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure programme. The approved strategy includes a 15-year contract length and a competitive flexible procedure.
