The Executive of Islington Council agreed the responses to the Housing Scrutiny Committee's recommendations on 17 September 2026. The Executive agreed to accept all six recommendations made by the committee. The decision included agreeing to restructure the New Homes Team, explore alternative funding and delivery models, improve resident engagement, review governance arrangements, continue exploring taller buildings and rooftop development, and explore Modern Methods of Construction.
