The Director of Inclusive Economy and Jobs (Joint Acting Corporate Director Community Wealth Building) approved the award of the contract for the Barnard Park Improvements Project on 19 December 2023. The decision approved the award of the contract to Blakedown Landscapes Ltd for up to 11.5 months at a total value of £2,554,708.97. The contractor will source sustainable products from local suppliers, appoint local subcontractors, and implement an environmental management system.
