About

The Local Plan Task Group oversees the preparation of the King's Lynn & West Norfolk Local Plan Review, which will replace existing planning documents. It reports its recommendations to the Cabinet.

The group's responsibilities include recommending the approval of the Local Development Scheme, overseeing evidence gathering, sustainability appraisals, and community involvement statements. It also reviews consultation documents, considers public comments, and recommends changes to draft plans. The task group recommends the final adoption of the Local Plan to the full Council and oversees the preparation of Supplementary Planning Documents and the Local Plan budget.
