(including a £50,000 contingency) following a competitive
procurement process.
Reasons for the decision
The 23/07/24
Corporate and Resources Committee meeting approved the latest
business case and authorised the project team to progress beyond
RIBA 3 to submit a planning application, undertake demolition and
enabling works and procure a principal contractor for the
redevelopment of the former care home, Murray House.
Following the outcome of commissioning options review, the GW1 was
approved by the Commissioning Governance Board on the 15th July
2024 recommending to proceed with a competitive procedure via the
Notting Hill Genesis Framework, Demolition and Enabling Works
lot.
The tender pack was issued via the council’s e-tender portal
on the 15th July 2024, with a return time and date of 12:00 on 1st
August 2024. The tender had a 50% quality / 50% price weighting.
John F Hunt Limited provided the most economically advantageous
tender return and were appointed to complete the works.
