Purpose

Decision Taken:

The award of JCT MWD 2016 contract in accordance with the
Regulation 11 (1) Council’s Contracts Regulations to
Cravencroft Ltd for a contract period
of 5 months (with option to extend for a further 7 months plus 12
months latent defects period) for a maximum contract value of
£329,672.00 to deliver Old Malden Children’s Centre -
repair works and installation of family hub, as per specification
included within the ITT.

Reasons for Decision:

As per the Briefing Note circulated in March 2024 to CGB by
Alexandra Mares there is a strong requirement to deliver the works
and complete the installation of the Family Hub by the end of
August 2024.

The Hybrid GW1/2 Strategy report, granted virtual approval by CGB
in July 2024, sets out the proposed model for the delivery of the
works outlining the recommended route to market to commission the
Construction-line registered main contractor services. As part of
the agreed scope, the ITT pack included delivery of Phase 1 and
Phase 2.
