RECOMMENDED TO COUNCIL
that:
 
The Petition Scheme be amended so that:
 

a)   
the threshold for the number of signatures required to debate
petitions at Committee under section 8 of the Scheme be set at 500
for Strategic Committees and 150 for each of the Neighbourhood
Committees save for South of the Borough where it be 100;
 

b)   
the threshold for the number of signatures required to ‘Hold
an Officer to Account’ under section 9 of the Scheme be set
at 500; and
 

c)   
the response to all petitions submitted to Committee under section
5 of the Scheme be published in a subsequent agenda of the relevant
Committee.
