RESOLVED that:
 
1.        
the revised facility mix identified in
paragraph 28 of the report be approved and the design of the new
leisure and community facility proceeds upon this basis;
 
2.         the
proposed procurement strategy be endorsed and note that the
Executive Director Place, in consultation with the relevant
Portfolio Holder, will award a contract to a design team and
professional services team to the end of RIBA Design Stage 2
(outline design) for the new leisure and community facility in
Kingston town centre at an approximate value of £400k on the
recommendation of the Commissioning Governance Board; and
 
3.        
a further report be provided to the
relevant Committee at the conclusion of RIBA Design Stage 2
(outline design), including a full business case for the delivery
of the project.
