About

The Housing Scrutiny Sub-Committee examines the council's work on private sector housing enforcement and regulation. It also scrutinises the Housing Department's efforts to improve the quality of social homes and neighbourhoods, and its management of the Lambeth Housing Partnership. The committee's remit covers housing needs, homelessness, home ownership, leaseholders and rents, tenancy and estate management, housing repairs, compliance and major works, and the Direct Labour Organisation.
