Employment Committee

This Committee deals with the appointment and dismissal of the Chief Executive and Executive Directors, the terms and conditions of employment across the authority, certain trade union issues and the draft annual Pay Policy Statement.   The Committee will normally be dealing with confidential information and consequently the greater part of its meetings will be in private.  Further information about the Committee can be found in the Constitution.
