Purpose

Approval is sought for the County Council to enter into a Section 106 agreement (Deed of variation), under Section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, in relation to Ribble Valley Borough Council planning application 3/2018/0910 for outline planning permission application for the development comprising 20 bungalows.

A planning contribution of £24,000 for the upgrade of the nearest bus stop and associated costs for the service has been paid in March 2024 to Lancashire County Council under the original S106 agreement.

The deed of variation removes this obligation as it has been fulfilled. It also updates the land owner and surety provider and land ownership boundary.

Authority to take this decision has been delegated under the Scheme of Delegation to Heads of Service.
