Purpose

This report requests the waiver of the county
council's Procurement Rules for the procurement of a sheet piled
wall reinforcement on Church Brow in Walton-le-Dale.

Content

The Leader of the Council and the Cabinet
Member for Resources, HR and Property (Deputy Leader) approved the
recommendation as set out in the report.
 
This decision should be implemented
immediately for the purposes of Standing Order C28 as any delay
could adversely affect the execution of the county council's
responsibilities.  The reasons for this
are set out in the report.
