The Development Control Committee of Lancashire Council approved the continuation of mineral extraction and restoration of Ravenhead Quarry through infilling with non-hazardous material on 04 September 2024. The approval includes conditions for controlling commencement and duration, a working programme, construction environmental management, reversing alarms, surface water drainage, landscaping, habitat management, ecological mitigation, and restoration and aftercare.
