Purpose

In January 2023 Lancashire County Council was
awarded £49.6M from the DfT for the Levelling Up East
Lancashire programme. As part of the award LCC will receive
£4.96M in 2023/24. To release the remaining £44.6M, the
DfT have stipulated that LCC must complete a Full Business Case in
2024/25.

To assist and expedite LCC in the work required to design and
develop the full business case and the associated projects within
it, the services of Jacobs have been commissioned.
