Purpose

Proposed amendments to the Highways, Bridges
Maintenance Capital Programme

As part of the normal process of service delivery, the approved
highways capital programme now requires amendments to meet emerging
priorities and allow the effective delivery the Programme.

The reallocations are between projects in the same programme and
there is no change to the total approved budget. They consist of
several transfers of funds in response to developments in programme
delivery. There are two transfers between projects in different
programme years. This is to ensure that funds are used effectively
by supporting project delivery.
