Purpose

purpose of this proposal is to amend the Traffic Regulation Order
to match the existing road markings already historically in-situ,
allowing for effective enforcement.
There will be no changes to the restriction or its extent on
site. Therefore, drivers will not be subject to any changes as a
result of this proposal.
 
Formal consultation was carried out between 21 November 2024 and
19 December 2024 which included advertising in the local press.
Divisional county councillors were consulted along with the
council's usual consultees and the consultation documents posted on
the council's website.
 
Notices were not placed at the location of the existing
restriction where no material change to the restriction as
currently indicated on site were proposed.
Following formal consultation, no objections were
received.
