Purpose

Cabinet is asked to approve
Moor Park High School and Sixth Form's proposal to lower its age
range from 11-18 to 11-16. If the proposal is approved, the sixth
form provision would cease as of 31 August 2026. No Year 12
students would be recruited from September 2025.
 
As part of the statutory process, a decision
should now be taken about the proposal. 
If the authority does not make a decision within two months from
the end of the consultation period, the proposal and any
representations about the proposal must be passed to the Schools
Adjudicator for a decision.
 
This is deemed to be a Key
Decision and the requirements of the council's Cabinet procedure
rules (Standing Order C18, Consideration of Key Decisions) have
been complied with.
