The Lancashire Combined County Authority decided to approve the methodology for apportioning transport grants to constituent councils, add these grants to the 2025/26 budgets, and approve the principle for passporting future grants. The authority also approved the Lancashire Strategic Skills Plan for submission to the Department for Education and accepted £653,065 in Rural Prosperity Funding for 2025/26. Additionally, the authority agreed to be admitted to the Lancashire Pension Fund and appointed KPMG LLP as its External Auditor.
