Purpose

This report presents an application from a
local organisation requesting £1250 towards approved training
equipment for the two new junior teams from the Local Member Grants
Scheme.

Content

County Councillor Gina Dowding considered and
approved a Local Member Grant for the reduced amount of £500
to Marsh United Community Football Club towards approved training
equipment for the two new junior teams.
 
The reason for the reduction is Councillor
Dowding states she has many demands on her grant budget from a
variety of deserving organisations who do fabulous work in the
community. However, she fully supports the work of the Marsh United
Football club which is in her division and therefore has awarded
them a quarter of her annual grant amount.
