Full council record
Purpose

Following over 12 months of
development and consultation, the Lancashire Growth Plan 2025-35 is
now complete.  This strategic document
has been sponsored and informed by the Lancashire Business Board
and the Combined Authority's Economy Advisory Board, both of which
have provided guidance and scrutiny through the document's
inception, consultation and completion.
The final Plan and underpinning analysis, give a strong economic
development signal to the LCCA's associated Local Transport and
Employability plans.  Taken together,
these documents show how Lancashire can deliver growth, and make
that growth inclusive, whilst also making a significant
contribution to the delivery of the UK's Modern Industrial
Strategy. The next step is to translate the Plan into action:
promoting projects and programmes that attract public and
commercial investment and addressing the challenges that currently
limit Lancashire's ability to make its case and accelerate
development.
