Purpose

Lancashire County Council has a legal
obligation to publish a complaints and customer feedback report on
social care statutory complaints and learning on an annual basis.
There are two statutory procedures, both different: one for
children and young people's social care complaints and one for
adult social care complaints. These two reports plus a third for
Corporate Complaints and feedback are required to be approved.
Cabinet is asked to note and comment as appropriate on all annual
reports acknowledging the associated learning, so that the county
council can meet its legal obligations. After approval the reports
will be published on our website to ensure transparency with our
regulators and the public .
