Purpose

"The purpose of this proposal is to reduce the
length of the existing Bus Stop restriction in conjunction with a
related proposal to introduce a 12-metre Bus Stand restriction to
allow bus drivers to take a break and to use the nearby facilities,
where this is not possible with the current Bus Stop Clearway,
following a report that a bus driver received a Penalty Charge
Notice whilst taking a required break.

Consultations
For Bus Stops - Formal consultation was carried out between 26
September 2025 until 24 October 2025 which included frontagers to
the proposed location of the Bus Stop being notified and notices
being displayed on site. Divisional county councillors were
consulted along with the council's usual consultees.

Following formal consultation No Objections were received.
