Purpose

This report presents an application from a
local organisation requesting £450 towards transforming an
acclaimed play into a digital resource that explores the impact of
domestic abuse, substance misuse and male suicide, through dynamic
original drama, and delivering it to additional venues, from the
Local Member Grants Scheme.

County Councillor Yousuf Motala considered and
approved a Local Member Grant for the reduced amount of £150
to Certain Curtain Theatre Company towards the cost
of transforming an acclaimed play into a digital
resource that explores the impact of domestic abuse, substance
misuse and male suicide, through dynamic original drama, and
delivering it to additional venues.
 
The reason for the reduction is Councillor
Motala is reserving funding to support additional organisations
operating within his division.
