Purpose

The purpose of the proposed speed limit
changes is for preserving or improving the amenities of the area
through which the road runs. The 20mph restriction also includes
speed humps, speed cushions and chicanes etc.

Consultations
Formal consultation was carried out between 16 January-2026 until
13 February-2026 which included advertising in the local press and
notices being displayed on site. Divisional county councillors were
consulted along with the council's usual consultees and the
consultation documents posted on the council's website.

Following formal consultation 1 Objections were received but has
since been retracted
