Purpose
Approval is sought for the County Council to
enter into an agreement for an obligation on the developer to
pay:
1.A Highway contribution of £15,000 towards the Lancaster
Travel and Transport Infrastructure Strategy, the contribution will
be utilised towards 1 initiative within the strategy:
•The Lancaster Centre Gyratory,
Authority to take this decision has been delegated under the Scheme
of Delegation to Heads of Service.
It is recommended that the Director of Law and Governance is
authorised to enter into an agreement under Section 106 of the Town
& Country Planning Act 1990 in connection with the proposed
development, providing for obligations on the owner or developer of
the land to pay a sum of £15,000 towards the Lancaster Travel
and Transport Infrastructure Strategy.
