Purpose

This report presents an application from a
local organisation requesting £2000 towards upgrading the
school hall’s lighting and sound system so that it can
properly support assemblies, school productions, performances,
presentations and PTFA community events, from the Local Member
Grants Scheme.

County Councillor David Howarth considered and approved a
Local Member Grant for the reduced amount of £250 to
St Mary Magdalen’s Catholic Primary School Parent Teacher
Association (PTA) towards the cost of upgrading the school
hall’s lighting and sound system so that it can properly
support assemblies, school productions, performances, presentations
and PTFA community events.
 
The reason for the reduction is Councillor
Howarth is allocating the funding remaining in his Local Member
Grant for this financial year to the group.
