Purpose
The purpose of the proposed is to upgrade the existing bus stop to a quality bus stop clearway. This is to allow the buses to pull in and out safely and allow effective enforcement. A raised boarding platform will also be installed to ensure safe boarding and alighting of passengers.
Consultations
For Bus Stops - Formal consultation was carried out between 13th January 2026 and 10th February 2026 which included frontagers to the proposed location of the Bus Stop being notified and notices being displayed on site. Divisional county councillors were consulted along with the council's usual consultees.
