Purpose

The purpose of this report is to seek Cabinet approval for the Lancashire Supplier Charter (the Charter), which establishes a clear, consistent and strategic framework for how Lancashire County Council engages with its suppliers, providers and partners.

The council operates within an increasingly complex, resource constrained and high demand environment. The effective delivery of services is therefore dependent on strong, transparent and mature relationships with external organisations.
