Purpose

The purpose of the proposed is to upgrade the existing bus stop to a quality bus stop clearway. This is to allow the buses to pull in and out safely and allow effective enforcement. A raised boarding platform will also be installed to ensure safe boarding and alighting of passengers.

Consultations
For Bus Stops - Formal consultation was carried out between 03rd March-2026 until 31st March-2026 which included frontagers to the proposed location of the Bus Stop being notified and notices being displayed on site. Divisional county councillors were consulted along with the council's usual consultees.

A formal modification consultation was carried out between 28th May-2026 until 25th June-2026 which included frontagers to the proposed location of the Bus Stop being notified and notices being displayed on site. Divisional county councillors were consulted along with the council's usual consultees.


Following formal consultation 4 Objections were received.

Decision
