The Environment, Flooding and Climate Change Overview and Scrutiny Committee examines the County Council's executive decisions concerning environmental services, flooding, waste management, climate change initiatives, and the council's green agenda, including green spaces.
This committee also functions as the Council's Flood Risk Management Committee, monitoring the performance of the Flood Risk Management Board as required by the Localism Act 2011. It oversees relevant partnerships and scrutinises the activities of the Environment and Transport Department in these areas.
