The Community Food Growing Task and Finish Group agreed to approve its report and recommendations for referral to Mayor and Cabinet on 04/07/2023. The group recommended that the Council conduct an annual survey of people on the allotments waiting list, use demographic information to identify underrepresented groups, and update the website with information about community gardening. They also suggested creating a community garden waiting list, exploring options for resourcing a community gardens management association, and assessing funding options for community gardening in social housing developments.
