That the report be noted. It was also recommended to officers
that:
·        
Consideration be given to climate literacy and engagement
activities for residents – including creative activities,
food growing and outdoor events.
·        
There be increased urgency on the measures required to decarbonise
the Council’s vehicle fleet.
·        
Officers should consider the impact of new streetlighting on
wildlife
·        
The centrality of active travel be noted in relation to the climate
emergency – and that the Active Travel Strategy should be
consulted on and adopted as soon as possible.
