Decision

Resolved- That Mayor & Cabinet:

1)                 Approves the procurement of a specialist building security and related service provider for a period of 3 years, with the option to extend for a further 2 years, via the ESPO Site Security Services (347_26) Framework, with a maximum contract value not to exceed the value set out in Part 2.

2)                 Approves the award of the contract described at recommendation 1), and provided that the contract values are within the financial parameters set out in Part 2, delegates authority to the Executive Director of Corporate Resources (in consultation with Director of Law and Corporate Governance and the Head of Facilities Management) to select the preferred service provider in accordance with the selection and award criteria published in the tender documentation.
