The Council of Lewisham Council on 20 May 2026 resolved that general dispensations to elected members be agreed. These dispensations allow members to participate in decisions notwithstanding interests that would otherwise prevent them, including those related to housing, school meals, statutory sick pay, member allowances, ceremonial honours, and setting Council Tax.
