MOVED, SECONDED and RESOLVED to AUTHORISE the Head of Planning to GRANT PLANNING PERMISSION, subject to conditions and the completion of a satisfactory legal agreement for,

The construction of a five-storey residential building comprising 20 self-contained (C3) apartments, including landscaping, cycle parking, refuse and recycling facilities and other associated works at 27 Longton Avenue, SE26, subject to conditions, including those set out in the report as are considered appropriate to ensure the acceptable implementation of the development.

If a satisfactory legal agreement has not been entered into by 12 February 2027, it is recommended that authority be delegated to the Head of Planning so they may:

(a) refuse the application with appropriate reasons if the planning legal agreement (s106) is not completed or sufficiently progressed within six months of the Planning Committee meeting (the ‘Completion Target Date’); and

(b) authorise extensions to the ‘Completion Target Date’ where considered reasonable and proper to do so in the prevailing circumstances.
