Resolved-

1)                 That the Select Committee note the report

2)                 That the Select Committee recommend that Mayor and Cabinet considers methods to strengthen accountability for smart targets and more reporting to our committee every six months

3)                 That the Select Committee recommend to Mayor and Cabinet that it consider and refresh the Climate Strategy placing greater emphasis on Lewisham's role and convenor and influencer when it comes to addressing borough-wide emissions

4)                 That the Select Committee recommend to Mayor and Cabinet that the refreshed Climate Strategy should identify heat decarbonisation as a strategic priority in its own right

5)                 That the Select Committee recommend to Mayor and Cabinet that the refreshed Climate Strategy should place greater emphasis on adaption and resilience in light of recent heat waves and the fast-evolving climate emergency

6)                 That the Select Committee recommend to Mayor and Cabinet that the refresh Climate Strategy should set out clearly how major programmes will be delivered in the context of declining or discontinued funding streams and identify possible external or innovative routes to investment and delivery
