endorsed the proposed course of action – specifically - that
early discussions be held with the Department for Community and
Local Government regarding the pressures facing the Housing Revenue
Account. There was also recognition of the collective response from
councils (led by LB Southwark) on the serious pressures facing
council finances nationally.
